Roadside assistance

It can happen to anyone, you're on the roadside with bad luck. Together with our care partner, we want to get you mobile again as quickly as possible and relieve you of this. Below is an overview of what you can and should expect during Carsub's assistance.

How does roadside assistance work?

  1. In the event of a breakdown, the counselor will come to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, make sure you are in a safe place yourself.

    Tip!
    Blijf bij je auto terwijl je wacht. Dit voorkomt extra kosten, aangezien je auto alleen gerepareerd of weggesleept mag worden als je zelf aanwezig bent.

  2. De hulpverlener heeft besloten dat het niet veilig is om met je auto verder te rijden. Er wordt nu een aanvraag voor vervangend vervoer ingediend. De klasse van vervangend vervoer hangt af van de contractueel afgesproken voorwaarden. Voldoet dit niet aan je wensen? Neem dan contact op met Carsub (+31 85 77 33 753). We zoeken een alternatief en bespreken de eventuele bijkomende kosten met de contracthouder/leverancier.
  3. De hulpverlener brengt je auto naar een garage waar ze snel kunnen starten met de reparaties. De hulpverlener meldt de stranding bij de leverancier van je auto en bij Carsub en wij zorgen ervoor dat de garage je informeert over de status van je voertuig.
  4. Heb je gebruik gemaakt van vervangend vervoer? Let goed op wanneer je deze weer moet inleveren. In het document dat je hebt getekend bij ontvangst van het voertuig staat waar en wanneer je deze moet terugbrengen. Is je auto nog niet hersteld? Geen probleem! Laat het ons weten door contact op te nemen met Carsub (+31 85 - 77 33 753) en wij zorgen voor een alternatief.

Who can subscribe to Carsub?

Anyone who is at least 24 years old and has had their driver's license for at least 2 years with a place of residence in the Netherlands can subscribe to Carsub cars. Possession of a valid car license and Dutch ID, of an ID from an EU country is required. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a Carsub subscription to people with a negative credit check (after BKR and credit reporting agency). In addition, our car partner performs an additional acceptance check. Carsub and its car partner reserve the right to refuse a customer request with and without an acceptance check at any time. In addition to the driver (subscriber), a (free) second driver can use the Carsub car. Both drivers must be at least 24 years old and have a valid driving license from an EU country for 2 years. People who are not registered with us are not allowed to drive your car.

Why does Carsub carry out a credit and identity check?

Due to insurance, your solvency and anticipation against possible misuse of our services, we carry out an accurate identity and credit check to minimize the risks of abuse. Based on your complete registration information, we can perform an identity and creditworthiness check. The credit check is performed only once during the first booking. We ask for your understanding.

What does a Carsub car subscription include?

With a Carsub subscription, you get a new or young used dealer maintained car including the necessary maintenance and repair, tires (summer tires or all-weather), insurance, registration, depreciation, VAT, road tax, roadside assistance and 1,250 free kilometers per month.

How much does a Carsub car subscription cost?

That's all up to you! Our website lists the monthly subscription costs per car. So you can choose the car and the monthly price that suits your lifestyle and budget. However, we do charge a one-off registration fee of € 179. These cover the costs of preparing your car, creating your customer profile, verifying your identity and financial details, among other things, and being able to continue providing our service. If you stop or pause your subscription and don't drive a car with our car subscription for at least 90 days, you'll need to register again and pay a registration fee again. This is because, among other things, we need to check your creditworthiness again. In addition, when you first pay your subscription, we charge a one-month deposit for your chosen car, with a minimum of € 500, -. After the surrender or termination of your car subscription agreement, the deposit will be refunded or settled against any outstanding items such as, but not limited to, fines and damages.

What is a car subscription?

Do you have Netflix, Spotify, or a mobile phone? Then you are already using subscription services. With a car subscription, you pay a recurring (monthly) fee to drive a car, instead of buying a car with your savings or through financing or leasing. So no long-term contracts, installments, residual amounts or fines in case of (early) termination. A subscription removes the hassle of owning a car, because everything is included (including insurance, maintenance, repairs and taxes). You're 100% flexible to start, change, or stop whenever you want. It also allows you to switch between different cars to suit your lifestyle.
